What I miss the most about Baker is this man.

Looks easy right? Why does that guy get to go sit there and weld 60 t patches and flash 12 boxes? LUCKY.....says that one laborer. Anyone that knows HOW to heat weld really well, HATES it by now, but theres just no one else the boss trusts to do it right.🤷

Temperature varies depending on ambient temperature and substrate. Also....clean, clean, clean your material prior to welding. Weathered membrane cleaner.

No drain sump, that's not ideal, but interesting. I believe a general guideline is to keep the center hole at least an inch smaller in diameter than the drain pipe itself while maintaining a 1" minimum amount of PVC inside the drain bolts. Flat and wide drain hubs are also better

Super useful, thanks! A great way to look for slate is to search for salvaged slate from demolished or run down buildings, as it will cost much less and even if it's from an old building, like the man said, it's millions of years old already.
